    Day 0

    Enquiry

    Send product, grade, quantity, packing, destination port and preferred Incoterm via the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp.

    Within 24 hours

    Quotation

    You receive a written offer with specification, price per MT on FOB / CFR / CIF, packing, shipment window and payment terms.

  3. 3
    3–6 days

    Sampling

    500 g – 1 kg samples couriered by DHL / FedEx for your approval of colour, size and cooking quality. Lab reports included on request.

    On approval

    Contract & advance

    Proforma invoice issued; order confirmed against advance TT, L/C at sight or CAD as agreed.

  5. 5
    5–10 days

    Processing & quality check

    Lot is cleaned, graded, sortex-sorted and lab-tested to the contracted specification under our supervision.

  6. 6
    1–2 days

    Packing

    Bagged in your chosen packing with printed marks, palletised if required, and stored in a dry, covered warehouse pending stuffing.

  7. 7
    Before stuffing

    Inspection & fumigation

    Optional third-party inspection (SGS / Intertek / BV); fumigation with methyl bromide or phosphine per destination rules; phytosanitary inspection.

    Vessel cut-off

    Stuffing & shipment

    Container stuffed under supervision, sealed, and moved to Mundra, Kandla or Nhava Sheva. Shipping bill filed; B/L issued on sailing.

    On sailing

    Documents & delivery

    Full document set couriered or presented through the bank. We track the vessel and keep you updated until the container is released at destination.

Documentation Checklist

The documents you receive with every shipment

Prepared by our export team and, where applicable, issued by the relevant Indian authority. Additional certificates can be arranged for specific markets.

  • Commercial InvoiceProduct, quantity, unit price, Incoterm, HS code and total value for customs and payment.
  • Packing ListBag count, net and gross weights, container and seal numbers, marks and lot references.
  • Bill of Lading (B/L)Issued by the shipping line on sailing; original or telex-release as your bank or forwarder requires.
  • Certificate of OriginIssued by the Chamber of Commerce or, for preferential tariffs, the relevant scheme certificate (e.g. SAFTA, GSP).
  • Phytosanitary CertificateIssued by the Plant Quarantine authority after inspection, confirming the consignment is free from regulated pests.
  • Fumigation CertificateFrom an accredited fumigator, stating the fumigant, dosage, exposure time and container number.
  • Quality / Inspection CertificateLab analysis of the shipped lot; third-party pre-shipment inspection report (SGS, Intertek, BV) if contracted.
  • Additional on requestInsurance certificate (CIF), health certificate, non-GMO declaration, halal certificate, weight certificate.

Which price basis should you ask for?

We quote on any of the four terms below. The right one depends on whether you or we hold the better freight and insurance rates to your port.

EXW Ex Works

Goods handed over at our warehouse in India. You arrange inland transport, export clearance, freight and insurance. Lowest unit price, most responsibility on the buyer.

FOB Free On Board

We deliver the cleared, loaded container on board the vessel at Mundra, Kandla or Nhava Sheva. Ocean freight, insurance and destination costs are yours. Our most common term.

Most popular
CFR Cost and Freight

FOB plus ocean freight to your named port. You arrange marine insurance and handle destination charges and customs clearance.

We book the vessel
CIF Cost, Insurance & Freight

CFR plus marine insurance to the destination port. A single landed-at-port price with minimum arrangement on your side; you clear customs on arrival.

Simplest for new importers

Payment terms: advance TT, irrevocable L/C at sight, or cash against documents for established buyers.
