Exporter of Premium Indian Pulses
About the category

India's most-consumed dal, from the Deccan pulse belt

Pigeon pea is a Kharif crop sown with the monsoon and harvested from December to February across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. India is both the largest producer and the largest consumer, and the milling industry that serves that demand is where our Toor Dal is processed.

We supply whole pigeon peas cleaned to export standard and Toor Dal milled to a tight broken tolerance, with polished, water-polished and oil-free finishes available to suit the Gulf, UK, US, Caribbean and East African markets.

Whole pigeon peas (Toor or Arhar) are a drought-tolerant pulse grown across Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. In whole form they are bought mainly by millers, sprouting units and repackers serving South Asian, Caribbean and East African markets.

Our whole Toor is harvested from December to February, cleaned to remove stones, pods and stalks, and graded by size so that milling yield and cooking behaviour are consistent across the lot.

Split Pigeon Peas

Toor Dal · Arhar Dal · Split Red Gram

HS Code: 0713 60 00

Toor Dal is the most consumed dal in India and a core line for every South Asian grocery importer worldwide. Whole pigeon peas are dehusked, split and either polished with a food-grade oil/water finish or supplied unpolished (oil-free) for markets that prefer it.

We control broken percentage, husk residue and colour uniformity at partner mills, and can supply the pack size and polish level each destination expects — from 50 kg PP for wholesalers to 1 kg branded retail packs.
