Exporter of Premium Indian Pulses
About the category

India is the world's largest chickpea producer

Roughly 70% of global chickpea output is grown in India, chiefly across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Gujarat. The Rabi crop is harvested from February to April and moves into cleaning and milling units through the year, which is why Indian chickpeas are available in steady supply on a twelve-month basis.

Flow Trade Exim supplies all four forms of the crop that international buyers ask for: whole White (Kabuli) and Black (Desi) chickpeas, dehusked and split Chana Dal, and finely milled Besan. Each is cleaned and graded at partner facilities under our supervision, sampled and documented before it leaves for port.

We supply machine-cleaned, sortex-sorted Kabuli in 8 mm to 12 mm grades, with double-polishing available for buyers who need a bright, uniform appearance for retail packing.

Black Chickpeas

Kala Chana · Desi Chana · Bengal Gram

HS Code: 0713 20 20

Desi or Kala Chana is the small, dark, thick-skinned chickpea native to the Indian subcontinent. India is the world's largest producer, and the variety is a staple across South Asia, the Gulf and the Caribbean for curries, sprouting and roasting.

Our Desi chickpeas are cleaned to remove stones, dust and shrivelled seeds, then sortex-sorted for uniform colour — ideal for repackers as well as millers producing Chana Dal and Besan.
